Navidrome, Cleanuparr and Chaptarr: three new applications in the USeed catalogue
The USeed application catalogue welcomes three newcomers: Navidrome, to take your music everywhere, Cleanuparr, for a download queue that stays clean at all times, and Chaptarr, to finally bring audiobooks and eBooks together in a single library.
Three new applications, three practical needs
In September 2026, the USeed application catalogue grows once again. Three very different profiles join the list of one-click installable apps from your console: Navidrome to put your music collection into streaming, Cleanuparr to automate the housekeeping of your downloads, and Chaptarr to manage audiobooks and eBooks. All three are included with every seedbox plan, at no extra cost.
Navidrome: your music, everywhere, no middleman
Navidrome is an open source music streaming server (GPL v3 licence) that turns your seedbox into a private streaming service. As its authors put it on the project's website:
"Navidrome allows you to enjoy your music collection from anywhere, by making it available through a modern Web UI and through a wide range of third-party compatible mobile apps, for both iOS and Android devices."
In other words: your collection stays on your server, and you listen to it everywhere — from the built-in web player or from the mobile app of your choice. Navidrome speaks the OpenSubsonic API, the de facto standard of the ecosystem: many iOS and Android clients are compatible, without depending on a third-party service or a subscription to listen to your own music.
What it can do
- Multi-library support: separate music and audiobooks, or family and personal libraries, with per-user access controls.
- On-the-fly transcoding: your files are converted as you play them, to protect your data plan and your bandwidth.
- Huge libraries: the project has tested collections of around 900,000 tracks, mostly FLAC and MP3.

Cleanuparr: a download queue that cleans itself
Second newcomer, a completely different area: Cleanuparr. If you use Radarr, Sonarr or Lidarr, you know the scenario: a download gets stuck in the queue, an import fails, a booby-trapped file sits there waiting for manual action. The project was born exactly from that problem, as its documentation recalls:
"Cleanuparr was created primarily to address malicious files, such as *.lnk or *.zipx, that were getting stuck in Sonarr/Radarr and required manual intervention."
Its official presentation describes it as an advanced download manager for the Servarr ecosystem, compatible with Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, Readarr and Whisparr, as well as with the qBittorrent, Transmission or Deluge clients. Concretely, here is what it handles on your behalf:

All of this without any intervention: Cleanuparr applies your rules, notifies you on every removal, and ignores the categories, tags or trackers you exclude. The offered version is v2.10.8 (September 24, 2026), and it integrates with the whole stack available at USeed: Radarr, Sonarr, Lidarr on the *arr side, and qBittorrent, ruTorrent, Deluge and Transmission on the client side.
Chaptarr: audiobooks and eBooks, finally together
Third newcomer, and a special case: Chaptarr. If you collect audiobooks or eBooks, you may have noticed that Readarr, the book manager of the *arr family, is no longer actively maintained — its GitHub repository is archived. Chaptarr picks up the torch: it is an independent fork of Readarr, run by its own community, with no affiliation to the Servarr team. Its README introduces it like this:
"Chaptarr is a Readarr fork built to accommodate audiobook and eBook libraries in one instance. It helps you organize and maintain a collection of books with rich metadata, including narrator and edition information that many general-purpose media managers struggle to track, or don't try to at all."
What it can do
- Two libraries, one instance: separate root folders for audiobooks and eBooks, or books shelved side by side — your choice.
- Narrator-aware metadata: organization by narrator, multi-edition support for the same title (keep both the audio and the text version), special handling for multi-part releases.
- MP3 → M4B conversion: turns a multi-file MP3 audiobook into a single chaptered M4B, preserving or automatically inserting chapters.
- Series management: automatic organization by series, metadata profiles to control which languages are allowed in your library, customizable renaming with audiobook-specific tokens.
- Automatic upgrades: replaces lower quality versions automatically, just like the other *arrs.
The project is upfront about it: Chaptarr is in beta, under active development — but it now counts more than 11,000 active users, with no reported data loss over the past six months. Worth noting for metadata purists: it does not use Readarr's metadata sources, but its own multi-source pipeline that aggregates data through consensus.
